Official rules

NEXIAA Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Three NEXIAA service credits: $1,500, $500 and $250, in Canadian dollars. Total value: $2,250. Applicable taxes are included in the credit amounts. Skill-testing question required. One entry per person.

1. Organizer and contest period

The “NEXIAA Contest” (the “Contest”) is organized by NEXIAA (the “Organizer”), located at 14, place du Commerce, 6th floor, L’Île-des-Sœurs, Quebec H3E 1T5. For questions: info@nexiaa.com.

The Contest begins on October 14, 2026, at 9 a.m. and ends on November 15, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m., Montréal local time. The receipt time recorded by the entry form system is authoritative, subject to a demonstrated error.

2. Eligibility

To enter, a person must be at least 18 years old, reside in Quebec and own or be an authorized occupant of a home located in the eligible territory described in Appendix A. The person must be authorized to request services for that home. These conditions must be met at entry and when the prize is confirmed.

The address of the home to be serviced determines geographic eligibility. A person living elsewhere in Quebec may therefore enter if they own or are an authorized occupant of an eligible home. Vehicle-related services must also be performed within this territory.

The Organizer’s officers, directors, employees and representatives, persons or businesses directly responsible for organizing the Contest, and their spouses, parents, children, siblings and persons living with them are excluded.

It is not necessary to be a NEXIAA client, purchase a service, subscribe to the newsletter or have a social media account to enter or win.

3. How to enter

During the Contest period, read the rules and complete the form available at https://nexiaa.com/en/contest. Provide your first name, last name, a valid email address and the municipality of the home to be serviced; confirm your eligibility and accept the rules. Submit the form before the closing time.

One valid entry per person is permitted for the entire Contest. In the event of an unintentional duplicate, only the first eligible entry is retained. Automated entries, fictitious identities and deliberate attempts to circumvent this limit may result in disqualification. No purchase, share, comment, tagging of a friend or social media subscription provides an additional entry.

Internet access is required and the entrant’s usual provider charges may apply. No amount is payable to the Organizer to enter, claim or receive a prize.

4. Optional newsletter subscription

The form includes an optional, unchecked box for providing express consent to NEXIAA’s commercial communications. This choice is independent of entry and does not affect the odds of winning. Subscription confirmation, if requested, is not a condition of entry.

An entrant may withdraw their marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in the communications or by writing to info@nexiaa.com. Withdrawing this consent does not cancel their Contest entry.

5. Prizes and value

Three prizes are available: a first prize consisting of a $1,500 NEXIAA service credit; a second prize consisting of a $500 credit; and a third prize consisting of a $250 credit. The total prize value is $2,250, in Canadian dollars. A person may win only one prize.

Each credit applies to the total amount invoiced for the selected eligible services, including applicable taxes. Taxes are deducted from the credit; they are not added to its value. For example, an eligible $200 invoice including taxes reduces a $250 credit to $50.

Credits may be used for Home Watch, Home Management, Vehicle Management and à la carte services offered directly by NEXIAA within the eligible territory. NEXIAA service fees, including initial visit or setup fees where applicable, are eligible. Purchases of goods, parts and materials, and invoices from third-party providers, are not covered.

6. Use of credits

Services are booked with NEXIAA according to its reasonable availability and the requirements of each service. The winner chooses eligible services and receives, before any service is performed, an estimate or agreement specifying the cost and conditions of performance. The usual applicable rates are used, without any Contest-related increase.

No additional purchase or financial commitment exceeding the credit’s value may be imposed to obtain or use the prize. The winner may use the credit for eligible one-time services without a minimum three-month commitment. As an exception specific to Contest prizes, Home Management services may be agreed upon without the usual initial three-month term, within the credit amount and the accepted scope of services. No automatic renewal applies. Any service exceeding the remaining balance requires the winner’s prior written agreement; the accepted excess amount is then payable by the winner.

The credit is provided free of charge as a promotional prize and may be used on multiple occasions during the twelve months following its delivery to the confirmed winner. The exact expiry date is stated in the prize delivery notice. Services must be performed during this period. Requests must be submitted sufficiently early to allow scheduling. If a request is received before expiry but NEXIAA cannot provide the service within that period because of its availability, a written extension is granted for the service concerned. After expiry, the unused balance is cancelled, subject to rights provided by law. The credit applies to new services ordered after its delivery, not to earlier invoices. It cannot be combined with another discount on the same service unless NEXIAA expressly states otherwise.

The credit is issued in the winner’s name, is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, subject to rights provided by law. No balance entitles the holder to a cash refund unless required by law. Safety, access authorization and service feasibility restrictions apply; they may not render a prize unusable for an eligible winner.

7. Draw and odds of winning

The draw will take place on November 16, 2026, at 10 a.m., Montréal time, under the Organizer’s supervision, at 64, Chemin François Xavier, unit 105, Candiac, Québec, J5R 0V1. Three entries will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received before the closing time. The first selection corresponds to the $1,500 credit, the second to the $500 credit and the third to the $250 credit. Entries are selected without replacement.

Prizes are not allocated among municipalities. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. If fewer than three eligible entries are received, no entrant may receive more than one prize; prizes will be awarded in the stated order to the extent that winners can be confirmed.

8. Notification, verification and winner confirmation

A selected person is a potential winner until the conditions below have been verified. The Organizer emails them at the address provided, from info@nexiaa.com, no later than two business days after selection. A reminder is sent before the deadline if no response has been received. The person has five business days following the sending of the first notice to respond. They must monitor their inbox and spam folder.

To be declared a winner, the selected person must: confirm their identity and eligibility; provide the address of the home to be serviced and, if necessary, reasonable proof of their right to request services; correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question involving multiple operations within two minutes, at a time agreed upon with the Organizer; and sign a declaration confirming compliance with the rules and acceptance of the prize. Reasonable accommodations are provided where needed, without eliminating the skill requirement.

Information or documents requested are limited to what is necessary for verification. No payment, social insurance number or banking information is required to claim a prize. Verification, the skill-testing question and the declaration must be completed within five business days following the response to the first notice. The Organizer may extend this deadline in writing for an accommodation or a justified delay, using a fair approach. A business day means Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays applicable in Quebec.

If the person is ineligible, does not respond within the deadline, fails the skill-testing question, declines the prize or does not meet the other conditions within the reasonable deadline specified, they forfeit their right to the prize. A new draw is then held for that same prize among the remaining eligible entries. Confirmed winners, previously selected persons whose confirmation is pending, and permanently disqualified persons are excluded. A person who declines or forfeits a prize may not be selected for another Contest prize. The process continues until the prize is awarded or eligible entries are exhausted. A demonstrated administrative error may be corrected fairly.

9. Prize delivery

The credit is delivered free of charge to the confirmed winner by email and recorded in their NEXIAA client file no later than ten business days after confirmation. The delivery notice specifies the credit’s value, balance, how to book services and contact details. The Organizer retains proof of delivery.

10. Personal information and publicity

The Organizer collects the information necessary to receive and verify entries, contact selected persons, award prizes and maintain Contest records. Providers involved in these operations may use the information only for authorized services and in accordance with applicable obligations.

Before collection, the form provides access to the privacy policy at https://nexiaa.com/en/privacy-policy, specifies the collection methods and required information, and explains the rights of access, correction and withdrawal of consent, as well as the consequences of a withdrawal that prevents the administration of an entry. It also provides applicable information about recipients and any disclosure outside Quebec.

Contest information is retained for twelve months following the closing of the Contest, unless a dispute or legal obligation justifies longer retention. At the end of the applicable retention period, it is destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the law, unless retention is required. Billing records and proof of newsletter consent follow the retention periods appropriate to those purposes. Requests may be addressed to the person responsible for protecting personal information: François Lafortune, President, at info@nexiaa.com; 14, place du Commerce, 6th floor, L’Île-des-Sœurs, Quebec H3E 1T5.

Any publication of a winner’s name, municipality, image or testimonial requires separate consent specifying the uses and their duration. Refusal to participate in publicity does not prevent receipt of the prize. Entry or winning does not result in automatic newsletter subscription.

11. Contest integrity and exceptional circumstances

The Organizer may reject a fraudulent or non-compliant entry and correct a manifest error reasonably and fairly. It retains evidence supporting a disqualification or a change to Contest administration.

In the event of force majeure, significant fraud or a breakdown that genuinely compromises Contest integrity, the Organizer may take the measures necessary to restore fair operation, including a suspension or limited amendment. A notice explaining the reason and consequences is published on the Contest page. Valid entries and acquired rights are preserved where possible; advertised prizes may not be arbitrarily withdrawn.

If providing a prize becomes objectively impossible, any replacement must comply with applicable laws and offer equal or greater value, with the winner’s agreement where necessary. An amendment may not be used to circumvent the obligation to deliver a prize to an eligible person.

12. Liability, platforms and applicable rights

The Organizer takes reasonable measures to ensure the Contest operates properly. Subject to the law, it is not responsible for interruptions to third-party networks or services beyond its control. No provision limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from intentional or gross fault or bodily or moral injury, or the legal warranties applicable to services.

The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Meta. Entry information is provided to the Organizer. To the extent permitted by law, entrants release these platforms from liability relating to Contest administration. Social media posts direct users to the website form; no action on a personal account or a friend’s account is required to enter.

The Contest is governed by Quebec law and applicable Canadian federal law. The Organizer’s administrative decisions do not deprive anyone of remedies provided by law. No clause requires waiver of a class action or of a court’s jurisdiction provided by a mandatory rule. If a provision is invalid, the others remain applicable to the extent permitted by law.

13. Access to the rules and questions

The rules remain available free of charge on the Contest page during the Contest and the prize-awarding period. To obtain a copy, ask a question or report a difficulty, write to info@nexiaa.com. If an abbreviated advertisement differs from the rules, the Organizer applies the legally enforceable terms without reducing entrants’ rights arising from an advertising representation.
