Discover how NEXIAA looks after your home and helps you manage your home and vehicle needs. Have a particular situation in mind? Let’s discuss your needs.

  • Home Watch consists of a visual inspection of a home or property designed to identify visible problems. (1) NEXIAA follows a protocol tailored to your property, conducts scheduled visits and sends you a report after each visit. This is a documented, periodic presence; it does not constitute continuous monitoring or a technical building assessment.

    (1) Official definition of Home Watch according to the National Home Watch Association.

  • We walk through every room and check, among other things, for visible signs of leaks or water infiltration, ambient temperature, the condition of doors and windows, and unusual conditions such as odours, noises or signs of pests or vandalism. We also check certain visible components of systems and appliances according to the agreed protocol. Exterior checks are included for houses. The checklist is adapted to your home’s equipment, access and particular features.

  • Yes, for houses. We observe accessible and relevant exterior elements, including the visible condition of the home, grounds and access points. These visual checks are intended to identify visible irregularities; they do not replace a specialist inspection of the roof, structure or equipment.

  • NEXIAA recommends a visit at least every seven days when your home is unoccupied and requires a minimum of one visit every fourteen days throughout a continuous absence. Your insurer may require more frequent visits or specific checks. We work with you to establish a schedule based on the period of non-occupancy, your home and the requirements you share with us. The number of visits you book does not by itself determine their frequency.

  • No. Home Watch has no minimum absence period or commitment of several months. You choose the number of visits appropriate to your situation while meeting the minimum frequency required during a continuous period of non-occupancy. An initial visit helps us prepare the service.

  • Yes. If the period of non-occupancy or your needs change, contact us to review the schedule. Changes are agreed upon according to availability and the terms of your service agreement, while respecting NEXIAA’s minimum visit frequency and the insurer requirements you have shared with us.

  • We first discuss your situation and the location of your home. An initial visit to the property then allows us to establish the checks, access arrangements, special instructions and contact persons. We confirm the services and agreement, then schedule visits based on the period when the home will be unoccupied.

  • We notify you promptly when an irregularity requires your attention and share the relevant observations. With your authorization, we can coordinate a service provider, access to the home and follow-up on the work. Authorizations and contact persons are established when the service is set up. Coordination or additional trips may incur fees according to the agreed terms.

  • Yes, additional visits are offered à la carte. NEXIAA offers an urgent unscheduled visit, described as a same-day visit, and a priority emergency visit, with a target response time of one hour, subject to availability and travel conditions. Contact us to confirm whether a visit is possible and its price. These services do not constitute guaranteed around-the-clock availability.
